No particular reason...
...just felt like posting, is all. I'm doing my usual routine of surfing friends' blogs late at night.
I'm doing Medifast in an attempt to lose 40 lbs. I'm on Day 3 and I've already felt tempted to cheat. Just the thought of living without bread or potatoes for at least a month is making me mental! To be honest, most of the Medifast meals I've tried are bland, bland, bland. I have found that I can perk up the soups with boullion and spices, as well as adding extra water (the minestrone is a particularly nasty offender with it's stodgy consistency and hard-as-a-rock-won't-reconstitute-for-an ything beans). Same thing with the oatmeal. I have to add more water than it calls for, a packet of sweetener (really missing my brown sugar) and a touch of milk. At least I don't have to give up my tea.
I started this out on Jan 25 at 187 lbs. We'll see how this goes.
